Let someone know they've slithered their way into your heart.

I created this pin by disassembling and then collaging back together vintage brass Victorian jewelry components. The heart originally had an arrow piercing it, but I removed it to make room for the slithering snake. The jewelry component the snake came from was a snake wrapped around a bough, but I cut the bough away and reassembled the snake into an arrow-ish form. I then place the snake into its new home, soldered it into place, and had it cast in sterling silver. I solder on the pin finding, then the silver is polished, then oxidized, and then the oxidization is buffed off to bring out all of the tiny details, and finally the pin is hand brushed to a glowing satin finish.

It attaches with a classic bar clasp with a nickel silver bar for extra strength.

It measures just under 2" from nose to tail, and a little over an inch from top to bottom. (1 7/8" x 1 18")

Made by hand in Brooklyn and ships in a gift box. The paper lining the gift box may be different than what is pictured, but it will be just as pretty.
